At Your World, Your Way Travel, we believe that accommodations are an integral part of your travel experience. Wherever possible, we eschew bland, international-style chain hotels in favor of boutique hotels, inns and villas with a distinctly local flavor. Here, our guests feel "at home" and can interact with the personable staff that run them. Our accommodations are always comfortable, clean, and attractive - often luxurious.

We have uncovered some true gems for you: A group of bungalows built on stilts, overlooking miles of rice terraces in the mountains of central Bali; a country resort nestled in the mountains of Thailand's Hill tribe country; restored colonial "grand dames" in Vietnam and Cambodia; an exclusive resort on a Mekong River island in the Golden Triangle....

WE WINE AND DINE YOU!
Meals are a special part of the day on a Your World, Your Way Travel program. We introduce our guests to the varied, delicious cuisines of the destinations we visit. In Indonesia, you'll sample sate - skewers of barbecued meat, chicken or fish served with a spicy peanut sauce, and nasi campur - the national dish consisting of rice and up to ten different side dishes of meat, chicken, vegetables, curries and sauces. In Thailand you may sample hor mok - fish or seafood mixed in a curry, wrapped in banana leaves and steamed (it is sublime!), as well as such internationally-famous standards as pad Thai - fried noodles with shrimp and condiments, and tom yum - a piquant soup. Vietnam offers up fresh spring rolls, Cambodia delicious soups, and Burma memorable curries.

In most destinations you will enjoy fresh, locally-caught seafood such as jumbo shrimp, crab, calamari and fish. Snacks and desserts may consist of some of the dozens of exotic, tropical fruit found here - mangos, rambutans, "snake-skin" salaks, mangosteens, and for the truly adventurous, durians.

GETTING AROUND CAN BE HALF THE FUN
Local transportation on a Your World, Your Way Travel program is geared toward comfort, safety and fun. Local transport is primarily by van or minibus - we use the highest standard available and make sure that there is plenty of space for everyone by operating our tours well below the capacity of the vehicles.

When appropriate, we avail ourselves of more local and colorful means of transport - exploring Hanoi's historic old quarter by "cyclo" bicycle taxi; boating from Thailand to Luang Prabang, Laos on the Mekong River; discovering Bangkok's royal district by motorized, three-wheeled "tuk-tuk"; experiencing the temples and pagodas of ancient pagan, Burma by horse cart.

On our ADVENTURE series tours, much of the transport is provided by you, our guests! On these tour programs you'll walk, bicycle, and paddle your way across the destinations we visit!

OUR STAFF IS TOPS!
Your World, Your Way Travel programs feature the most knowledgeable, professional and friendly tour leaders and guides in Southeast Asia. Scheduled group tours are led by a Western staff member who is an expert on the region you visit, and is often conversant in the languages of each destination.

We work in partnership with established, local travel companies in each destination that we operate. This system of regional partnerships insures that we have access to the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic local guides available, as well as an expert local support network.
